Thermoplastic hoses are medium to high pressure hydraulic hoses with multiple type of reinforcements. The braided reinforced layers are usually made of either steel, polyester, aramid fibers or polyamide. Due to its ability to withstand extreme temperatures and environmental factors, it is ofter prefered over hydraulic hoses.
 
The inner tube has a smooth surface that allows easier flow and minimum flow loss. It is also erosion resistant and even at high pressure it tends to expand low.
 
It is often used in chemicals, water cleaning, paint spray, hydraulic purposes, air, compressed gases.
