Brass Compression Connectors
Compression fittings are traditional type of fittings that uses multiple components per fitting to compress into the tubing’s outer diameter to create a watertight seal between different lines. Compression fittings comprises of sleeve, nut and nipple and the size is based on the outer diameter of the pipe or tube to be used. The sleeves act as the seal as the nut gets compressed into the pipe or tube. Though push in connectors are preferred nowadays due to its easiness to install, compression fittings are more reliable, withstand higher pressure and are short & compact. Compression nuts are used in many applications such as plumbing, pneumatic lines, electrical conduit systems etc.
